Celebrate Darkness!!
This card goes out to an acquaintance of mine who potentially likes the dark more than I do. The picture is a lot lighter than the actual card, but you get that with my photography skills...
This offering uses Background Sampler from Stampin' Up! along with their Basic Gray Card and Taffeta Ribbon; Shiny Letters from Bella; Paper from Scrapworks and the lovely cross I borrowed from one of my besties KathyJ... when she sees this she will hopefully add a comment with the stamp details.
I am thinking this "just because" card will evoke a little giggle from its recipient.

Tins for the Little Ladies
The little ladies in my life love these tins!! Mia is on to her second one as the first was used so much that the hinge broke, now these are pretty sturdy so it must have been opened many times. The things they like most are the ribbons, which I jazz up with beads and butterflies and the like. This is a little group I have made using the same paper range from Making Memories, I had a little stash of this paper when I originally made the Ella tin (years ago) and liked it so much I stashed up.... I still return to it every now and then as the colours are girly, but modern and fun... it also helps when you just happen to have co-ordinating ribbons, buttons, stickers and flowers!!!

Sometimes Simple is Best....
This is a card that needed to be blue, not my favourite colour to work with, and relatively simple in design. I like alphas and especially this now retired set, which I often stamp off and cut out.
Ingredients:
Stamps, Card, and Ink--Stampin' Up! Paper--Scrapbook Walls by Chatterbox; Punch--Creative Memories.

Rhonda's Notebook
This notebook needed to be bright, bold and feminine for the recipient. I have had this paper in my stash for some time, and I thought this was just the right project for it.
Ingredients:
Notebook--Spirax; Stamps, Punch and Inks--Stampin' Up!; Thickers--American Crafts; Rhinestones--Kaiser; Paper--Making Memories.
Method:
Used both sides of Making Memories Ruby RazBerry Floral, cutting paper to leave enough overlap to turn into inside cover (I use the width of my metal ruler). Punched spine using Spiral Punch, secured to front cover with double sided tape and tape runner. Used a fine strip of reverse side of paper across middle of notebook.
Double stamped flowers (from Bodacious Bouquet) in Ruby Red on Whisper White card, cutting full flower 3 times and 3 sets of extra petals. Covered extra petals in Dimensional Magic, securing to flowers with foam tape. Stamped flower stems (from Bodacious Bouquet) straight onto BG paper, secured 3D flowers across LHS of notebook. Stamped 3 sets of leaves in Garden Green on Whisper White, highlighting one section of each with Dimensional Magic, cut and secured under flowers.
Used Kaiser Rhinestones to finish off flowers and add highlights. Placed name in Thickers across the bottom.

Groovy Guava Notebook Style...
Christmas wishes for the girls at work came in the form of little notebooks, all along the same lines but a little different. I will post a few over the next week or so...

Ingredients:
Notebook, Spirax; Stamp, Paper, Ribbon and Inks, Stampin' Up!; Thickers, American Crafts.
Method:
Cut DSP leaving enough overlap to turn into inside cover (I use the width of my metal ruler). Stamped out flowers (from Embrace Life set) in Basic Brown Ink, coloured with aqua brush dipped in Groovy Guava Ink, touched with Ruby Red; covered flowers in dimensional magic, while still wet placed seed beads. Used Thickers scroll to mimic flower pot, secured flowers in place, finished with Groovy Guava Ribbon and Felt Thickers across the bottom.
