Mischief Makers--Dot Likes Background Stamps

This week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge has a few strips that pass in the night underneath a little label feature... I wanted to make a rich in colour birthday card for my paper crafting buddy Dot this week, so used Off-Beat Background stamping colour on colour atop the patterned paper, for the downward stripes... and then colour on matching coloured card with a little label from the Holiday Labels set.

The fabby flower definitely takes centre stage on this card, but it is made better by some background stamping, always great to incorporate stamps behind your feature elements, it helps give them more life....

There are a swag of options on display for this sketch, have fun with it, and..don't forget to link up to win!!!

What's in it?
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps: Off-Beat Backgrounds, Holiday Labels No. 14
Paper:  Prima: Rosarian Collection; SU: Raspberry Ripple
Ink:  SU: Raspberry Ripple
Extras:  Prima: Rosarian Flowers; Chipboard Letters.
