A Waltzingmouse Christmas: Day 1--Alpine Christmas

Well it is time for the Waltzingmouse Design Team to parade some Christmas delights, starting today with the very versatile Alpine Christmas... now I must admit for someone who has never seen anything resembling a snow fall, or the Alps, this was a little out of my league, but the grace of Claire's images didn't make it too hard to pull of an OK card!

I stamped the Alps directly onto the Crate Paper Sleigh Bells background,  and then built the scene on top of the paper from there.  The house is coloured with Copics, with the roof double stamped and pop mounted, the snow is double stamped, it lines up nicely!  And I added a couple of extra trees in the snowscape for good measure, and to cover up a whole in the BG paper ;-)  The snow is double pop mounted to sit on top of the house entry to give a look of snowed in!

One of the lovely sentiments across the bottom of the white card front and a bit of trim to bling it all together... chopped up to for bling at the top corners and for the front door on the house.

I have added a stack of "snow" across the card with my trusty Molotow white paint pen, and have now decided I need these in every size and a few different colours!

There is a string of ladies playing around with Alpine Christmas, and the matching dies that are also available, here is a little path for you to follow, or you can head over the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog for all the details, enjoy!
