Waltzingmouse Stamps May Release BLOG HOP: A Little Something for You

It is Waltzingmouse Stamps Release Day, which is very exciting for all the tag lovers out there, what a great array of product to choose from this month, and the good thing is that they will complement all of your other little rodent stamps, have an occasion, the tag dies and stamps will make it POP!!

We celebrate Release Day with a Blog Hop around all of the DT Girls, you should have arrived here by way of  Anya, all the Blog Hop links are available on the Waltzingmouse Makes blog if the chain is broken or you would like to start from the beginning…

The thing I like the most about Waltzingmouse is their attention to details, always always always there are little stamps and accompanying dies that give me the little bits to be creative with, and this is certainly the case this month.  I used every one of the dies and stamps used released this month on this little tag card:

  • Largest Stitched Tag Die and Co-ordinating Grommet, the die is great to used with worded background paper, so easy to line up… to ensure the "girl" at the top shines through evenly, and although a little covered at the bottom the word "best" is cleanly in the tag space as well!
  • 4 Grommets from the Folded Tag Die, in two shades of the green background paper
  • Flowers dies from the A Good Egg Dies, they layer well and go with the Sprig
  • Sprig and the circles from Simple Spig, except instead of using the circles for the intended matching flowers, I used them as extra background elements, atop the dotted paper, I like the added interest of this technique...

I especially LOVE the grommets that come with these sets, it was fun to line them up in different tones of green and mix them with simple silver beads and pink twine to build the tag "dangles", gotta love a dangly bit!

The Blog Hop is in full swing, don't forget to leave a comment by Monday 5 May 11:59PM GMT to enter the competition to win a voucher for use in the shop, equal in value to one large Waltzingmouse Stamp Set!!

The next stop on the Blog Hope is Jeanne so go on over and see what she has in store for you!

Good luck with your competition entry, and head back to the Waltzingmouse Makes Blog to round off the Hop, and to see if you are the winner for any of the competitions announced this week.!

Until next time, happy stamping…

  10. Love the beaded string. Pinned it. But are they called grommets or reinforcers? Is it a UK vs N.America thing? I thought grommets were metal and basically large versions of eyelets. ??
